As the creative mind behind the Sweet Relief! festival branding, it was an absolute pleasure to craft an identity that perfectly encapsulated the essence of this inaugural event in Brisbane.

Sweet Relief! isn't just a festival; it's an oasis where self-expression is celebrated, and togetherness takes centre stage. I had the honor of designing this vibrant experience, from the brand guidelines to OOH (Out of Home) campaigns, signage, menus, merchandise, Promo video, sitemap, ScrollX, Truskin, ticketing assets, and many more epic assets.

The vision

Capturing the Essence: Sweet Relief! is all about pure, unadulterated joy. The vision was to create visuals that would evoke a sense of excitement, inclusivity, and connection with music.

Brand Consistency: We wanted the festival's branding to be a consistent thread that tied all elements together. This started with the development of comprehensive brand guidelines.

Digital Assets

My work didn't stop at physical materials. We also crafted a diverse range of digital assets, including digital ads that invited people to experience Sweet Relief!, billboards that dominated the digital landscape, engaging social media graphics that sparked anticipation, and Spotify assets that set the festival's vibe even before attendees arrived.

OOH

Guiding the Way: Festival-goers needed to navigate the event effortlessly. The signage was strategically placed to lead attendees from one exciting experience to the next.

Merchandise

Festival-goers could take a piece of Sweet Relief! home with them through merchandise. T-shirts, hats, stubby coolers, and hoodies featured designs that captured the spirit of the festival.

Site map

We wanted the site map to be something from out of this world! So I designed the whole thing in Blender, this left us with an amazing 3D site map that was informative and eye-catching

Designing the branding for Sweet Relief! was a journey of creativity and collaboration. It was about creating an experience that extended beyond the music, a visual identity that spoke to the heart of the festival's values: unity, self-expression, and pure joy.

I'm proud to have been a part of this extraordinary event, and I'm excited to see how the festival-goers embrace the branding and make it their own.
